Difference between the internet and a web browser

Internet: The internet is a vast global network of interconnected computers and servers that allows information to be transmitted and shared across the world. It is a network of networks, consisting of numerous private, public, academic, business, and government networks that use various communication technologies to communicate with one another.

The internet enables people to access a wide range of services and resources, such as websites, emails, file sharing, video streaming, social media, and more. It is the foundation that supports various applications and services that we use daily.

Web Browser: A web browser is software installed on your computer or mobile device that allows you to access and view content on the internet. It is a client application that interprets and displays web content, typically in the form of websites,

web pages, and web applications. Web browsers communicate with web servers over the internet using various protocols, most commonly HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) and HTTPS (HTTP Secure), to request web pages and receive the data necessary to render and display them on your screen.

In summary, the internet is the vast network infrastructure that connects computers and allows the exchange of data globally, while a web browser is the software you use to access and view content on the internet, making it accessible and user-friendly. Without a web browser, users wouldn't be able to interact with the content available on the internet directly. Instead, they would need to use other protocols and methods to access specific services, which might be less user-friendly and more complex.
