Story of the Seven Sleepers in Quran.

The story of the Seven Sleepers, also known as the "People of the Cave," is mentioned in the Quran in Surah Al-Kahf (Chapter 18), verses 9-26. It is a remarkable tale that has been passed down through various religious and cultural traditions. Here's a summary of the story as it appears in the Quran:
In a city where people worshiped idols, there were seven young men who were believers in the One God (Allah). They lived during the time of a tyrannical ruler who forced his people to worship false deities. (Story of the Seven Sleepers in Quran)

The young men refused to submit to idol worship and stood firm in their faith in Allah. Despite facing immense pressure from their community and the ruler, they remained steadfast in their belief and sought refuge in a cave to escape persecution.

As they hid in the cave, Allah caused them to fall into a deep slumber, which lasted for several centuries. During this period of sleep, their bodies did not decay, and they were preserved by Allah's divine power.

The Quran does not specify how long the young men remained in the cave, but later Islamic traditions state that they slept for around 300 years. The exact duration remains a mystery, and it is considered one of the knowledge reserved only to Allah.

Eventually, Allah awakened the young men from their prolonged sleep. The ruler and the people of the city had long passed away, and the society had changed drastically. When the young men awoke, they were unaware of the time that had elapsed and thought they had only slept for a short while.

One of the men was sent into the city to buy food, and he was amazed to find the world had transformed, with people now following the true faith in Allah. When he tried to buy bread with an old coin from his time, the people became curious about the origins of the coin.

The story of the Seven Sleepers and the miraculous preservation of their bodies soon became known to the people, and the cave they slept in became a place of reverence and worship.

This story serves as a reminder of the power of faith and the concept of Allah's divine intervention in the lives of His believers. It emphasizes the importance of remaining steadfast in faith, even in the face of adversity, and the ultimate triumph of truth over falsehood. The tale of the Seven Sleepers is considered a symbol of hope, resilience, and God's mercy in Islamic tradition.
