Hazrat Ayyub(AS)

Story of Hazrat Ayyb (AS) in the Quran,

The story of Hazrat Ayyub (AS), known as Job in English, is mentioned in the Quran in several verses. It is a story of great patience, faith, and eventual restoration.

Hazrat Ayyub (AS) was a righteous and prosperous man who lived during the time of Prophet Ibrahim (AS). He was blessed with a happy life, a large family, abundant wealth, and good health. He was known for his piety and unwavering devotion to Allah.

However, as a test from Allah, Hazrat Ayyub (AS) was afflicted with a series of calamities. He lost his wealth, his children, and his health. He became severely ill, suffering from a painful and debilitating disease. Despite his afflictions, Hazrat Ayyub (AS) remained patient and steadfast in his faith, never wavering in his belief in Allah's wisdom and justice.

His wife and close friends advised him to curse Allah and abandon his faith, but Hazrat Ayyub (AS) refused to do so. He continued to worship Allah and remained steadfast in his trust, seeking His mercy and forgiveness.

During his trials, Hazrat Ayyub (AS) would sit outside the city, covered in sores and in great pain. People who were once close to him began to distance themselves, considering him cursed. However, there were a few individuals who remained by his side and provided support during this difficult time.

In the Quran, Allah says:

"And (remember) Ayyub, when He cried to his Lord, 'Truly distress has seized me, but Thou art the Most Merciful of those that are merciful.'" (Quran 21:83)

Hazrat Ayyub (AS) remained patient and continued to supplicate to Allah, praying for relief from his suffering. His unwavering faith and patience were eventually rewarded by Allah.

"And We found him patient in adversity, an excellent servant (of Allah): verily he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)." (Quran 38:44)

Allah answered his prayers and restored his health and blessings. Hazrat Ayyub (AS) was cured of his illness and was given back his wealth and children. He was once again surrounded by happiness and prosperity.

The story of Hazrat Ayyub (AS) is a testament to the importance of patience, trust, and unwavering faith in Allah's plan, even in the face of extreme adversity. It serves as an inspiration for believers to remain steadfast in their devotion and to seek Allah's mercy and guidance in times of difficulty.
